Running Up-Hill & Down, (An Ants Eye View)

These two carved wood sculptures depict a bottom up perspective of runners passing an ant going up and down hill.  In “Running Downhill” we
presume the ant to be thinking, “I’m about to be crushed.”  In “Running
Uphill,” it sees the danger pass and thinks, “Ha, ha you missed me.”
Unfortunately the two sculptures were not as fortunate as the ant and,
met an untimely end.  They have however been recreated as “Still Running
Downhill” and “She’s Running Uphill Too.”
