Early Particle Accelerator

Man has from time immemorial attempted to accelerate inert particles and cause them to crash into other objects.  Starting with hand thrown stones and progressing today to the gigantic Hadron Collider.  This "Early Particle Accelerator, "represents a first step in employing another substance to assist the previous all manual efforts to increase momentum/velocity and therefore impact.  The wooden slingshot frame was supplied by  a neighbor.  The "rubber" sling is reinforced epoxy resin with a leather pocket for the acrylic projectile.
